Clint Cromwell

Clint Cromwell was truly a force on the links for 4 years at Hardin County High School. He was a multi-year All-State performer who finished as the individual state runner-up as a freshman in 1997 while leading the team to a 6th place overall finish in the TSSAA state championships. As a senior in 2000 he became the first athlete in school history to win an individual state title in any sport, and also helped secure the first team state title in school history. That same year hewas honored as an AJGA Rolex Junior All-America Honorable Mention. He was awarded a golf scholarship to the University of Tennessee where he was All-SEC Academic performer in 2004.

Angela Hubbard

A gifted prep basketball player at Central High, Angela Hubbard was struck by a car in 1972, severely injuring her leg. Doctors feared she may never walk again but she rehabilitated and returned to the court during her senior year and played collegiately at Union University. In 1980 she returned home to Hardin County and coached girls' basketball and softball. At Hume-Fogg High in Nashville she coached basketball, track, and golf. Her track team won state championships in 1998 and 2004, and she coached numerous individual state champions. She has been recognized with multiple coaching awards and was honored by the Tennessee State Senate with a resolution at her retirement.

Adam Milligan

Few athletes in HCHS history have been as dominant as Adam Milligan. In 2006 he was All-West TN in baseball and football, District Player of the Year and All-State in both sports, Region Football Player of the Year, TSSAA Mr. Football finalist, and "On The Ball" Magazine Athlete of the Year. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves but chose to play at Walters State where he was All-Conference. After being drafted by the Braves again he returned to WSCC and was All-Conference, All- Regional, and Honorable Mention All-American. He signed with Vanderbilt but turned pro after being drafted by Atlanta a third time. He played 5 seasons in the Braves organization and was considered one of their top prospects before injuries prematurely ended his career.
